The Westin New York at Times Square

This was a great place to stay. Easy walking distance to Times Square and all the theaters. Direct access to the subway. One suggestion, if you stay here, spring for the higher floor. Yes, the view is great, but up on the 36th floor we heard very little city noise. Very soft background only. I can imagine that it would have been a lot more invasive on a floor closer to the ground. Beds were very comfortable.

Great hotel. Did not have much to do with reception staff, but team downstairs were welcoming and friendly and helped out with taxi advice etc. The room was spacious, although we had upgraded with Virgin holidays so was expecting a higher floor room with a slightly better view. The room had a large window in it which made the room very cold and drafty. Needs to be better insulated, could feel a draft and hear the conditioning units right outside. Would stay again. Did not try the foundry bar.

Great hotel in a central location. Clean, great views and the beds feel like sleeping on a cloud. So comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful when my flight was cancelled and I had to book an extra night stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel offers a fantastic location with stunning views, conveniently situated near Times Square and the theater district. It provides easy access to subway lines and is within walking distance of many attractions. The service is excellent. However, the room lacks a refrigerator, and the hotel breakfast is somewhat expensive at $38 per person. Fortunately, there are several excellent diners nearby.

I loved the hotel, especially the location, cleanliness, and the front desk staff, who were very helpful. However, the only disappointing part of my stay was an interaction with a man in the guest services area on the first floor. When I went to retrieve my luggage and handed over the claim tickets, he cut me off mid-sentence and told me to wait because the bellman was busy. I waited calmly, and the bellman later helped me very politely. I don’t want to make a big issue out of it, but I do think this is a good opportunity for management to address customer service standards. As someone who works in the service industry, I found this behavior unnecessary and not aligned with the level of service expected from a hotel like this.

We just left from a truly excellent stay at the Westin Times Square! Check in was quick, friendly, and professional. Status was recognized, and I was given a high floor (40) as requested, which was really appreciated. There are 2 banks of 4 elevators, one for floors up to 22, the other for floors 23 - 45. Wait times were minimal, and the elevator was fast. The room was cozy and clean, with a modern and inviting decor. There were ample outlets and lighting, along with decent internet speeds. Temperature control worked well. The room was exceptionally quiet, and the "heavenly" Westin bed lived up to its name. Although the bathroom was small, the shelves on the wall provided enough storage space. The tub had a rain shower, which had okay but not great water pressure. The breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent, with a great choice of options, including eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, plus self-serve waffle and pancake stations. The service was some of the most friendly and attentive we've ever received. The Westin Times Square was an unexpected delight, and we will definitely consider staying here for future NYC visits!

Great location and the front desk service was really nice. The first people you see when you enter the hotel are the gentleman that take your bags. They could be a little more friendly as the 1st people you encounter. You actually walk right past them, and they don't say a word. When I did have to stop and drop my bag off they were nice. The front desk people at check in were super nice and accommodating. In particular, Vesela was a real pleasure to deal with. She seemed very happy to be there and was very warm, informative and welcoming. I wish I could encounter people like her at every establishment my wife and I go to.

An Exceptional Stay!!!!! My stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment I arrived, the service exceeded all expectations. The staff was warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. A special shout-out to Jeric and Carlynn, who went above and beyond to make my stay extra memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care truly stood out. They provided local recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed, they made us feel so welcome and valued. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located in the heart of Times Square — close to everything, yet peaceful enough to relax after a long day in the city. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone visiting New York. Thank you to the amazing team at The Westin for making my trip unforgettable!
